Starting the remediation-who is the author?

Ok, I apologize for being so cautious and having so many questions. I am trying to start my remediation and but I’m stuck on the “Before editing” step. So… using that Andrew M Gordon example “Mailer’s Use of Wilhelm Reich” I am wondering… they put in Andrew Gordon for the author. Am I putting in myself Nina Mizner, as the author? Or am I putting in the author of my article, Taylor Joy Mitchell?

Hi, Nina.

For the article you are remediating, you will put the author of your specific article as the author. In your case, Taylor Joy Mitchell will be the name you put as the author.

You are not the author. You are the editor. Therefore, your name does not go on the page at all. That would be the author’s name of the article you are remediating. In your case, it’s Alexander Hicks.

Thank you! I love students helping students. That answered my question perfectly. And I appreciate the link to the other student who is encountering a similar problem. I think I get it now. Time to giver 'er a go and see how it looks.
