So, I had started working on my solo wikipedia project, and because I love film so much and we were given the choice to create our own articles or add to existing ones, I decided to go to contribute to the “Screenwriting” Wikipedia page in the Structural Theories section. There, I wanted to add the theory posed by Kristin Thompson and David Bordwell that the majority of movies are told with four acts instead of three. Here is what I got so far: User:Prileymovieguy84/Screenwriting - Wikipedia
I also wanted to add some of the screenwriting theories by Robert McKee, who is said to be an even bigger influence on screenwriting than the “guru” of the craft Syd Field. I haven’t added the information on his work yet, but if there are any suggestions on what I have written so far, I would love to hear it!
