My Final Question for the Remediation Project

I want to make sure that we are only adding citations that are included within the article. There is a paragraph within my article that references several books. Should I be citing those books?

If it is supposed to look exactly like the article, I think I might be done.

Oh yeah, my article did all kinds of crazy mentions like that. Including quotes and in-line citations, that were NOT included in the works cited at the end. It happened so much, I decided it had to be intentional and I did not add them. I was going to at first when I thought it was one or two, but it was SO MANY (I counted over fifty) and I basically made the “I’m not getting paid enough for this” judgement call to not add them. (or rather I’m a remediator not an editor–and it was stepping into full copyediting territory)

I think I agree. I figure it will be too much to search for those items anyway. Thank you for responding!
