Hi there,
I am running into a lot of questions when trying to get the citations input into Project Mailer from the original article.
-
What do I do when a source is a repeat from another source? Here is an example:

-
I am running into errors on some of my citations, and I don’t know what is wrong.
-
What is the correct template to use for a letter that appears in a collection? I am treating it like a chapter in a book. Is that right?
Thank you!
Hi Elaine,
Not sure if this is the problem with the dates, but the “|date” field is not for the publication date. For the publication date you just add a comma after the publisher’s name and type in the publication date after that. The date field at the beginning of the template is for those other dates, usually just a year, that are associated with the author.
I also discovered that it’s easy to forget to add a space if you insert or type in an additional field to the basic template.
Hope that helps.

I would also delete the URL field if you don’t have a url reference just to make the error go away.

Please always include a link when asking questions like these.
Sometimes you can combine two templates. There’s no correct way, so approximate when needed.
These you just have to go one-by-one. Perhaps the format
variable is unnecessary?
Use the letter template. If it gives you errors, let me know. It may not be on PM, but I think it is.
Get rid of any |format=
arguments. They are unnecessary. This will take care of most of your errors. I made a couple of changes to help.
