Hi all,
This has been an interesting week full of challenges and excitement. I managed to complete 80% of the requirements for the course. As I read feedback from the posts of others from this course, I was able to guide myself to where I was and needed to be. I love textbooks and do not do well with digital copies, so when there was a possible delay in receiving my book, I freaked out. Thankfully, my supervisor allowed me to head to the bookstore on another campus to pick up my book.
I love all the posts that everyone has published so far in this forum, and they have been very helpful in getting me to where I need to be for this week. Again, so much talent and experience is in this group, and I am already learning from a few of whom I have read their posts. I like this course structure because while it may not be a test for some, it can be a way of learning to cope with any bad habits remaining from procrastination for others like myself. Procrastinating will only lead to negligence and failure if we, as students, wait until the last minute to complete any assignments due the day of.
For now, I can only assure myself to stay ahead of the week that way, if any technical or user errors arise, I can be prepared before anything is due. At least given myself 24 hours of completing work prior to the due date. That way, I can manage to resolve any issues before its due date. One practical thing I believe will help everyone will be using Microsoft Outlook and being able to save items in your OneDrive. But it is definitely up to you on how you will maintain and organize your course material for this course. What type of time management tools do you all use?
