@grlucas
I have moved my article from the Sandbox to Wikipedia. Here’s the link for your review: Thelma Thompson Slayden - Wikipedia
Randy
Looks good, Randy. Who put the banner there?
Also, you need a lead: a first paragraph that sums up her life. Then, you might put much of your first part into a new section, maybe called “Early life.” There are still some reference errors, too. Thanks.
I had a Summary section and someone removed it. The neutrality banner may have been put there because the summary said she was an extraordinary woman who impacted local and federal legislation.
I’ll check the references again, but it looks like a few people edited it last night. I may need you to tell me what the specific errors are in the citations.
Here are the editors from last night:
More edits were done to my Wikipedia article last night and the neutrality banner is gone! With all of the scrutiny the article’s received, even with one editor linking it to another article, I feel good about it.

Awesome! Looks great, but I still think you need a proper lead, and you still have a couple of errors in the sources.
@grlucas
I’ve added a lead paragraph, and for the life of me I can’t find the errors in the sources you brought up. I’ve tweaked a couple of them this morning. I don’t see any error messages. Did I use the wrong template for one? Can you tell me what the errors are so I can fix them please? Randy
That’s what’s been confusing. I don’t see those errors in either log in or non-log in mode. It’s interesting that it’s both citations that don’t have authors listed.
Here’s what I see:
You need to use a certain ref tag in each source’s template: |ref={{SfnRef|Rolling Stone|2004}}
; Replace “Rolling Stone” with a short name of your source, and put in the correct date. Preview it, then click on the footnote to see if it goes to the source.
Citations tweaked and corrected. I put back in an sfn citation for the author’s signature at the first mention of her name. The editors removed the source I had for the photograph.
Please let me know if you still have red errors. I don’t see any and each link goes to the appropriate source when selected.
Thank you, Randy
Looking good! I’m happy to see a proper lead, too.
